Successful Campaign for Rape Services
After being part of a capaign in Reading, Berkshire for 18 months we have seen today an announcement by the Ministry of Justice that there will be services for people who have been raped or sexually assaulted. This is a huge victory on behalf of people who currently need to travel from Reading to Slough to receive the services they need.
In July 2011 local resident Sinead Gibson, who is a friend of HS Consultancy's director Hári Sewell, suggested that a campagn be started to have a Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) in Reading.
