HS Consultancy 5th Year Anniversary Worskhop & Reception
Friday December 5 2014 14:00 - 18:00
78 Sackville St
You are invited to join us to celebrate HS Consultancy's 5th Anniversary with a free workshop and drinks reception. The workshop will explore unconscious bias in health and social care and in mental health in particular.
See the flyer here.
Unconscious bias is currently being given privilage as a preferred paradigm for understanding inequalities in workforce matters and the experience of people who use services. There is merit in understanding the unconscious processes at work. It is important also however to analyse and tackle the structural and systemic inequalities that arise from collective failures, and also the deliberate choices that are made to preserve privalage and to invest resources in other areas.
